Before databases can be created or registered in BDB Server, there are a number of procedures that must be completed to set up the server. These procedures are performed using the Server Setup Utility. This utility allows you to define the settings that are used to connect to the server running the relational database over the network. These settings will be saved in the bathynodemanagerconfig.xml file. This utility can also be used to change the server settings at any time after initial setup.

All versions of the CARIS Bathy DataBASE Node Manager service must be stopped to access the Server Setup Utility.
