This folder is referenced by environment variable HCRFConfig.

Files in this folder are listed below:

Files

Description

RCS Control File

The Raster Chart Service Control file (rcsControl.xml) lists folder locations that are required for all aspects of HCRF production and distribution. This file sets the locations of folders for

chart images

chart and update distributions

encrypted chart and update distributions

decrypted chart and update distributions

The file is required for HCRF export, HCRF utilities and CARIS HCRF Licensing and Security System (LASS). None of these can work without this file being set correctly.

Note that although the default file has only one chart service listed, multiple chart services can be created in the same file.

List of Charts File

The list of charts file lists charts that are available for distributions. This is a user-defined file that is not included in the installation and must be created manually.

NOTETYPE.TAB

PROJCODE.TAB

UNIT.TAB

Palette Files

Apply RGB values to the HCRF chart at export. There are three palette files:

night99.xml

The number in the file name corresponds to the value of the HCRPAL attribute (HCRF Palette ID) in the HPD chart.

Colour Weighting

Colour weighting files are text files that control how colours are displayed in a palette.

These files are user-defined and are not included in the installation.

WGS84 Relationships

Excluded Panel Types
