Create a new template.
Editing templates involves setting properties for the various border components. See the following for a complete list of properties and how to set them:

New templates will have the following extension:

Procedure
1. Select a New Template command.
2. Expand the appropriate feature layer.
The new template is displayed at the bottom of the layer hierarchy. By default, new templates will be named as follows:
• Standard Border plus a number
• Strip Border plus a number
• Polar Border plus a number
• Regular ScaleBar plus a number
• Projected Grid plus a number
• Subsidiary Graduation plus a number
Rename and save the new template then edit it.
