Compose is used to create, update, and customize S‑57 products for export to a platform-independent exchange set or a stand-alone file.
Compose includes production and quality control tools to ensure compliance with S‑57/S-58 standards. You can perform the following tasks:
• Query, view, and edit a product.
• Create an S‑57 Edition 3.1 ENC data set or AML Edition 1.0, 2.1, or 3.0 data sets. This includes Inland ENCs 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4.
• Build custom hydrographic charting products.
• Create S‑57 updates, re-issues, and new editions.
• Reopen and update an exported product.
