CARIS HIPS and SIPS : HIPS and SIPS : HIPS and SIPS Commands A to K : Export a Bounding Polygon

Export a Bounding Polygon

Bounding polygons can be exported using the export tools provided in the File menu. In order to do this, however, they must first be converted to an acceptable format because bounding polygons in CSAR format cannot be directly exported in any format other than DXF.

To convert a bounding polygon you must first use the Import Selected Objects command to import the polygon into a feature layer as a Coverage area feature object. See Import Selected Objects for details on this command.
