The Attributes window shows the attributes for the vessel or component that is selected in the Vessels Window.
Vessel Editor assumes that these attributes can change over time, such as if you change the vessel’s waterline, move sensors, or switch to another TPU model. To account for this, the attributes are listed in a table where each row indicates a different set of attributes for the component. These rows have time stamps (the Date and Time fields) that indicate when that set of attributes should start being used. When HIPS and SIPS uses the vessel file for data processing, it uses the attributes from the row whose timestamps correspond to the time of the survey.
