Using a reference model, you can create a conformance analysis surface in CARIS BASE EditorTM, which represents the difference between the bathymetric model and the reference model. Using this surface, you can quickly visually identify the areas that do not conform to a model.
The figure below is the display of a conformance analysis surface. Safe areas are green, unsafe areas are red and caution areas are yellow.
