The Subset Control window is displayed when the Subset Editor is opened. At the top of this window is a Data tree view. Clicking a tree node displays properties for each node below the tree view. The available nodes are:

HIPS Data: These properties control sounding selection and some data display settings. The properties are described in HIPS Data Node.

3D View / 2D View: These properties control the display in their respective views. The properties are described in

2D View Node

3D View Node

Reference Surface: These properties control the display of surfaces in the 3D View of Subset Editor. The properties are described in Reference Surface Node.

CUBE Hypothesis: These properties control the display and editing of CUBE data. For more information related to this data type, see Hypothesis Editing. The properties are described in CUBE Hypothesis Node.

Calibration: These properties control the display of sensor data and provide tools to resolve navigation latency and transducer mounting offsets and to update the project vessel file. These properties are described in Calibration Node.

See the Calibration Workflow for the calibration process.

Corrections: These properties are used to apply depth and velocity (refraction) corrections with a subset of track lines, but will also apply outside the subset when interpolated to further corrections. These properties are described in Corrections Node.

Water Column: These properties control the loading and unloading of WCI data, and filtering by depth, slant range and intensity. These properties are described in Water Column Node.

SeeProcessing Workflow for Water Column Data for more information.

Tracking: These properties control the tracking of subset tiles as they are processed. These properties are described in Tracking Node.

Procedure

To apply subset controls to data:

1. Select an item in the Data list.

2. Select a layer or band of the surface from the Select Surface window, if displayed.

3. Set options related to the data type.

4. Apply the selected properties to the subset.
