The S-57 Composer and S-100 modules are used to create, update, and customize S‑57 and S‑100 products for export to a platform-independent exchange set or a stand-alone file.
S-100 product functionality is available only through the add-on module, S-100, that is dependant on the S-57 Composer module. In order to enable this module, the S-57 Composer module must also be enabled. Special licensing is required to enable this module. |
These modules include production and quality control tools to ensure compliance with S‑57/S-58, or S‑100 standards.
With the S-57 Composer and S-100 modules you can perform the following tasks:
• Query, view, and edit a product.
• Create S-57 and S-100 feature layers.
• Create an S‑57 Edition 3.1 ENC data set or AML Edition 1.0, 2.1, or 3.0 data sets. This also includes Inland ENCs 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4.
• Create, open and export S-100 products, if the S-100 module is licensed and enabled.
• Build custom hydrographic charting products.
• Create S‑57 and S-100 updates, re-issues, and new editions.
• Create exchange sets.
