A selected database can be stopped to perform maintenance or other related tasks, for example, uninstalling the application). Users cannot connect to a database while it is stopped.
Make sure all users are logged out (disconnected) from the database before changing its status. |
1. Double-click the Database Properties tool.
2. Select the database you want to stop (with a status of Started).

3. Select the Stop Database command.
After a few moments, the selected database is Stopped.
4. [Optional] For each database to stop, repeat steps 2 to 3.
