When you create a process model, tools and processes must be arranged in the order in which they will be processed must be connected in a way that indicates that the output of one tool is the input of the next.
Process tools can have a number of inputs and an output connection port. Conditional tools, such as Exists, which uses a logic function to determine if data exists, and other model tools can have more than one output.
The default procedure is:
1. Create a new process model.
2. Add the necessary tools.
3. Configure the tools by defining the properties in the Properties window.
4. Connect the tools in the order in which they will be applied.
5. Define the input and output of each tool.
Certain processes must follow the basic HPD workflow. |
See Digitize a model diagram for more information.
6. Save the new process model.
A process model file contains all the required configurations for each process in the file, You can reopen the file at any time to add or edit the properties of tools, change conditions, and add other tasks to the file.
