Files with a INFO extension, such as the sample file below, contain the locations of the positional (Lat/Long) and other attributes in the ASCII format files.
Info files are used by HIPS to parse the information from the XYZ file when opening as background data or for such processes as Compute GPS Tide (see Sounding datum models).
