Digitize Rectangle Using Two Points

Line Digitizer > Rectangle [2 points]

Area Digitizer > Rectangle [2 points]

Use with the Create Line Feature or Create Area Feature command.

Digitize a rectangle by specifying two points at diagonally opposite corners.

Procedure

1. Select the Digitize Rectangle Using Two Points command.

2. Click the first point.

3. Press and hold the left mouse button.

4. Drag the cursor to expand the rectangle to the desired size.

You can click directly on point 2 but pressing and dragging will give you a preview of the rectangle.

5. Release the mouse button.

The rectangle is created.
