Save the current state of the data in a project file.
A project file (.project) is a snapshot of all open sources at a particular time. It contains a list of their sources and their related data. Properties, including the last geographic extents of the view for project items, are displayed in the Properties window. See Project Window for more information on this window.

Procedure
1. Select the Save Project As command.
A Save As dialog box is displayed.
2. Navigate to a save location.
3. Type a file name.
4. Click Save.
The current project is saved.
