The Vessel Editor toolbar is visible below the menu bar when the application is opened. You can un-dock the toolbar and position it elsewhere or leave it floating outside the interface. You can also create custom toolbars that contain only the tools that you commonly use.
Hide or show a toolbar
To hide or show a toolbar, select it in the Toolbars menu. Selecting a hidden toolbar shows it, and selecting a shown toolbar hides it.
Menu | View > Toolbars |
Move a toolbar
Toolbars can be moved to any location interface:
1. Hover the cursor over the
column of dots on the left side of the toolbar.
2. Click and drag the toolbar to a new location.
3. Release the mouse button to position the toolbar.
When you are dragging the toolbar, it will automatically dock when it is close to certain areas of the interface. To stop the toolbar from automatically docking, hold down the <Ctrl> key while dragging it.
Modify appearance
You can alter the appearance and size of toolbar buttons.
1. Select the View > Toolbars > Customize command.
Menu | View > Toolbars > Customize |
The Customize dialog box is displayed.

3. Select or deselect any of the options. The most important ones are:

4. Click OK.
