Profiles

There are two kinds of profiles stored in the data model:

Regular profiles that span the width of the model and are based on stations. For example, if there is a station at every 100 feet and a profile every two stations, a profile is created every 200 feet. The length of these profile lines is the width of the template at the corresponding station point.

Profiles that are created from collections of points. This second type of profile is not tied to any station points.
