Filters in HPD are used for following purposes:
• To create layers: Filtered layers let you display defined subsets of data. For example, you might create layers that display only lines, layers that display only BUISGL objects, or layers that display all unverified objects that are ready to be Verified.
• To select features: All feature processing is based on selections. One or more features must be selected for certain processing, such as create collection objects, merge areas, and join lines, to be performed. Filters help you select only the features of interest for a particular operation.
Filters can be based on:
• attribute value
• feature type
• acronym
• feature object ID
• marker
• certification status
• project
• pending update
• unique feature acronyms
You can also build your own custom filters and save them.
