The tiled raster product is listed in the Layers window: The name of the parent layer is the user’s name followed by the product name, edition, and update.
Properties of the product are displayed in the Properties window when the parent layer of the product is active. The properties contain user information, product metadata, and source information. The product metadata contains the attributes you defined when you created the product.
You can change some of the product attributes in the Properties window, but you cannot change the size, location, or anything that affects the layout of tiles. You cannot add another data cover area or remove an existing one. If you need to modify the structure of a product, you must create a new one.
Layout layer
The Layout layer displays the data cover area, which is based on the extent of the Display window when you created the product. It is a rectangle with the acronym TRPRO (Tiled Raster Product) and is drawn with a border around it.
The data cover areas are also on this layer, but they are not visible unless you select them or if you enable the Meta Objects option on the Portrayal tab of the Options dialog box.
Data cover areas have the acronym SRCEXT (Source Extent).
Product layer
The next layer is the parent for the following layers:
• Product Specific: This contains the tile definitions. These have the acronym $tlbnd (Tile Boundary).
• Markers: This contains any markers you create for the tiles.
• Deleted Features: This contains any tiles you delete from the product.
The last two layers are standard layers that come with any HPD product. They may not be needed for tiled raster product production. |
Tile information
If the Product Specific layer is active, you can select tiles in the Display window. Information about the selected tiles is displayed in the Selection window and the attributes of the superselected tile is displayed in the Attributes window.

Information in national language | NINFOM | Information about the tile in the national language. |
Recording date | RECDAT | The date when the superselected tile was modified. |
