Edit the cartographic element of a linked feature.
Linked features are created by creating a geographic feature such as a light and a cartographic feature such as sector lines then linking them using the Create Annotation Link command.
The portrayal must be INT1 Dynamic Cartography. This can be applied to all layers using the Portrayal option (see Options) or to the active layer using the Portrayal property.
The editing that can be done to features is controlled and limited by XSLT files in \system\PCEConfig\xslconfig. See Dynamic Cartography for details.
Procedure
1. Superselect the cartographic element of the linked feature.
2. Select the Edit Cartography command.
The icon in the menu or toolbar darkens to indicate that the command is active, and editing nodes are displayed on the feature.
3. Select a node and drag it.
The nodes will move based on settings the XSLT files.
4. When editing is finished, select the Edit Cartography command a second time to turn it off.
