Split a single line to create two new lines. The original line is deleted. Both new lines are assigned new feature object IDs. All other settings remain the same.

Procedure
1. Select a line.
2. Select the Divide Lines command.
3. Move the cursor over the line.
The cursor changes shape ( 
).
4. Click at the point where you want to divide the line.
The line is split into two.
