These functions are found on the Process Designer menus and/or tool bars.

File > Save | Ctrl + S | Saves the process model file. This command is only active if changes have been made to the file. Save remembers the name of the last process model file saved in that view. |
File > Save As | - | Saves the process model with a new user-specified name and location. |
File > Save All | Ctrl + Shift + S | Opens the Save As dialog box to save all the open process model files. Remembers the name of the last process model file saved in a view. |
File > Recent Files | - | Opens list of last five model files opened, with the most recently opened file at the top of the list. |
File > Exit | Alt + F4 | Closes Process Designer, after prompting user to save or discard and model that has been changed. |
Edit > Copy (also right-click in model view) | Ctrl + C | Copy a selected tool in the model view window. When copying a tool, any populated values are now also copied. The copy can then be pasted in the same model or in another open model. |
Edit > Paste | Ctrl + V | Paste a copied tool into the model view window. |
Edit > Delete | Delete key. | Removes the selected tool or connector from the model in the display window. |
View > Overview | Zooms to display all the tools that are currently in the Model view. Useful to detect processes that have not been connected. • Use Zoom In to enlarge the view of specific tools. | |
View > Zoom In | Ctrl + = | Magnifies the contents of the Model window by 10% of the current setting. • Use the drop list to restore the default value or select a specific view. |
View > Zoom Out | Ctrl + - | Reduces the display in the Model window by 10% of the current setting. • Use the drop list to restore the default value or select a specific view. |
Tools > Bring to Front | This command places the selected tool on top of any other tools that it overlaps in the model view. (By default, the latest tool to be added to the view is always on top of the previous tool.), | |
Tools > Send to Back | Places a selected tool behind any tools it overlaps. | |
Tools > Preview Process | Ctrl + P | Performs a test run of the process. Allows you to enter sample input parameters, then displays any input dialogs and confirms whether there are any input problems. Does not actually process the data. |
Tools > Custom Process | Creates a custom Python process that can be populated with Python code and run in a process model. | |
Tools > Add Text | Adds a text box to the display window. Text boxes do not affect processing in any way, but are useful for labelling or explaining parts of the process. | |
Tools > Add Box | Adds a box to the display window. Boxes do not affect the processing in any way, but are useful for visually organizing parts of the process. | |
