Convert CZMIL Camera Images

Description

The ConvertCZMILCameraImages process generates JPEG/TIFF images from CZMIL IIQ files.

Inputs

A Raw CZMIL Camera files (*.IIQ) folder.

OutputFolder

The folder where all processed images in the specified format are stored.

OutputFormat

If set, the format used to convert the IIQ image into:

JPEG

TIF

JPEG2000

PNG

Default value is JPEG.

JPEGQuality

If set, changes the JPEG's compression quality. It can range from 0 to 100, where 0 is no compression and worst quality, and 100 is maximum compression and best quality.

Default value is 100.

resolution

If set, the resolution of the converted image.

Default value is 300.

--resolution-unit

If set, the units of the resolution of the converted image. Can be either Dots Per Inch or Dots Per Centimetre:

--bits

If set, the number of bits of the converted image. Can be either:

--rotation

If set, the angle to rotate the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 360.0.

Default value is 0.0.

--brightness

If set, changes the brightness of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from -50.0 to 50.0.

Default value is 0.0.

If set, changes the contrast of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Default value is 0.0.

--saturation

If set, changes the saturation of the original IIQ image to enhance colour tones in the converted image.

Range of angles from -100.0 to 100.0.

Default value is 0.0.

--level-highlight

If set, changes the level highlight of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 1.0.

Default value is 1.0.

--level-shadow

If set, changes the level shadow of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 1.0.

Default value is 0.0.

If set, changes the target highlight of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 1.0.

Default value is 1.0.

--target-shadow

If set, changes the target shadow of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 1.0.

Default value is 0.0.

--highlight-recovery

If set, changes the highlight recovery of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 100.0.

Default value is 0.0.

--shadow-recovery

If set, changes the shadow recovery of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 100.0.

Default value is 0.0.

--clarity

If set, changes the clarity of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.0 to 100.0.

Default value is 0.0.

--enable-open-cl

If set, allows usage of OpenCL pipeline if possible. The graphic card hardware of the computer is used to accelerate the process.

--output-profile

The file name of the Colour Profile to be used. To use Adobe RGB profile, write "Adobe98". To embed the camera profile, write "embed".

If set, the format of the compression used in the converted TIFF image:

--lcc-skip-dust-removal

If set, dust removal is skipped when creating LLCs, as this is a slow process.

If set, analysis for technical wide angles is included when creating LLCs.

If set, applies a camera specific profile file.

--file-curve

If set, applies a camera specific curve file.

If set, scales the values of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 0.1 to 2.5.

Default value is 1.0.

If set, changes the orientation of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range in steps of 90.

Default value is 0.

--kelvin

If set, changes the kelvin value of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from 800.0 to 14000.0.

Default value is as shot.

If set, changes the tint value of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Range of angles from -50.0 to 50.0.

Default value is as shot.

--exposure

If set, changes the exposure value of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

If set, changes the level highlight red of the original IIQ image in the converted image.

Objective

You want to convert a set of raw image files to TIF format.

Description

Command Line Syntax

The camera images will be converted to TIF format.

--output-format TIF

The images will be converted using a resolution of 500 DPI.

--resolution 500

The images to be converted are located in the RawImages directory in D:\SampleData.

D:\SampleData\RawImages\

The converted images will be saved in the CZMILProcessed directory in the same location.

D:\SampleData\CZMILProcessed\

Command Line

carisbatch -r ConvertCZMILCameraImages --output-format TIF --resolution 500 D:\SampleData\RawImages\ D:\SampleData\CZMILProcessed\

Outcome

TIF files are created in the specified location for each of the raw images found in the input location.
