Split an existing line feature into multiple new line features using the edges of the existing line. A new line feature is created for each edge component.
The new lines retain the feature acronym and attributes of the original line, but are assigned new feature object IDs.
This is useful for dividing lines before converting data from S-57 to other formats. Divided lines can easily be mapped, feature to feature.

Procedure
1. Select one or more lines.
2. Select the Divide by Edges command.
Each edge is converted to a line. The results are shown in the Output window.
