Digitize Circle Using Three Points

 

Pop-up

Line Digitizer > Circle [3 points]

Area Digitizer > Circle [3 points

Use with the Create Line Feature or Create Area Feature command.

A circle defined by three points on the circumference.

Procedure

1. Select the Digitize Circle Using Three Points command.

2. Click at the first two points of the circle.

3. Press and hold the left mouse button.

4. Drag to expand the circle to an appropriate size.

5. Release the mouse button.

You can click directly on point 3 but pressing and dragging will give you a preview of the circle.

The circle is created.
