To update HPD and Desktop Solutions to a new release, follow the same steps as the initial installation.
1. Back up your existing installation and all associated settings and files.
2. Download the ZIP file of the latest release from the Teledyne CARIS website to your computer.
3. Uninstall the current version of HPD.
4. Install the new release using the standard Windows install wizard, as outlined in the HPD Installation Guide.
