Generate Library Reference Coverage

Create a Library Reference (libref) coverage for the product.

The libref coverage is created from these features in a DNC product:

• Coastlines, such as BA010 features, from the ECR coverage

• A neatline from DQAREA features in the DQY coverage.

If a coverage (ECR or DQY) is not in the product, the features are obtained from the VPF Export dataset for the product, as defined in the product (.prd) file.

If a coverage but not all of the tiles are in the product, the features for the missing tiles are obtained from the VPF Export dataset, as defined in the product file.

Procedure

1. Select the product layer.

2. Select the Generate Library Reference Coverage command.

If the product already contains a library reference coverage, you are asked if you want to overwrite the existing coverage.

If you continue, a new library reference coverage is created. A message like this is displayed in the Output window.

The LIBREF outline is displayed in the product area of the Display window.
