CARIS Paper Chart Composer

Create a duplicate of a selected layer or group. By default, the duplicate is named "Copy of" plus the original layer or group name, but it can be renamed as required.

This command applies only to user-created layers and groups.

Procedure

1. Right-click on a user-created layer or group.

2. Select the Duplicate command.

A new layer or group that is an exact duplicate of the selected layer or group is created.

3. [Optional] Type a new name for the duplicate layer or group.
