Custom template files can be used to define output settings for the tools in the Limits and Boundaries Module (LBM). These templates are created in the Feature Palette and allow you to specify the symbols and representations for the point and line features created by the tools.
To use templates, the template files must be added to a Tools folder in the application installation directory. A new folder can be created if one is not present. The default location of this folder is:
C:\Program Files\CARIS\BASE Editor\<version>\system\LOSConfig\system
Any templates that you wish to have available in the application must be copied into this folder.
