Create a new area.

Procedure
1. Select the Create Area Feature command.
2. Select an acronym and set any necessary attributes as described in Create.
By default, you add the area boundary as a point to point line, but you can select several different line types from the Area Digitizer pop-up menu. See Digitize for details.
3. Add points to define the boundary line.
4. Select the Close Area command.
