New Line from Superselection/Selection

Import line or polygon geometries from selected features as reference model lines. Each segment of the selected feature(s) is imported as a reference model line and a message is displayed in the Output window. The new lines are added to the Lines group in the Model window. The default naming convention for creating lines is used.

Procedure

1. Select a feature layer in the Layers window.

2. Select the source feature in the Display window.

3. Select the New Line from Superselection/Selection command.

At least one new line feature is created.
