Open Tide Editor

Tool

Tide Editor is a separate application that is launched from HIPS and SIPS. It is used to view tide information in both graphical and tabular formats. Use the editor to edit an existing file or to create a new tide file to apply to survey lines before georeferencing the bathymetry.

Tide files are located by default in …\Hips\version\Tide and have a .tid file extension.

Procedure

1. Select the Tide Editor command.

Tide Editor is displayed.

The Tide Editor interface is displayed.

For information on creating and editing tide files, press F1 within Tide Editor.
