Revoking a license removes the license from the computer where it has been activated, allowing the license to be used on another computer.
Because a license can contain activations for multiple products, an activation ID (AID) is used to revoke one activation at a time, leaving any other activated products unchanged. Once an activation has been revoked, the functionality associated with the AID will no longer be available on the original computer. The entitlement ID (EID) associated with the license can then be used to reactivate the product on another computer.
Revocation can be performed for local licenses using either an online method or an offline method; the online method is recommended, if available. The revocation tools are accessed from the Revoke local licenses button in the top‑right corner of the License Manager dialog box.

See Revoking a Local License for more information.
