HIPS and SIPS Data Filters

Various filters can be applied from the Data Filters command on the Tools menu.

See Filter Observed Depths to filter bathymetry. This filtering can also be done in the Swath and Singlebeam editors.

See Filter Processed Depths to filter by a surface or a polygon.

• Surface filter uses an input surface and a scaled standard deviation or uncertainty threshold to reject HIPS data that fall outside the specified threshold or to filter by a direct threshold amount.

• Polygon uses a polygon geometry to accept/reject HIPS data that fall inside/outside the polygon.
