Use the ASCII Export option in the Compute Statistics results window to export all of the statistical information to an ASCII text file. This file will include:
• Information about the computed surface
• The resulting statistics
• The centre value of each bin and the count of data points within the bin.
A standard Save As dialog box is displayed. By default, the File Name field is populated with a name combining the names of the surface and the attribute layer that was computed as in (<surfacename>_<layername>).

1. Click ASCII Export.
2. [Optional] Enter a new File name.
3. Select a location for the file and click Save.
An ASCII text file is created in the specified location.
