Redundant vertices are vertices that do not contribute to the geometry of a feature. Removing them can reduce drawing time, minimize data storage, and improve printing while retaining the important data points.
This command uses the Douglas-Peucker Algorithm with a tolerance of zero.
Vertices can be removed from areas or lines.

Procedure
1. Select one or more features.
2. Select the Remove Redundant Vertices command.
Any redundant vertices are removed from all selected features.
