Revert Product Attributes

Tools > Revert Product Attributes

Revert attribute values in the product to their source values.

This is used in conjunction with the Product Attribute Overrides report.

Interface

Option/Command

Description

Feature

The feature object ID and feature acronym of the feature of interest.

Acronym

A list of attribute acronyms associated with the feature.

Source Value

The value of the attribute acronym in the source.

This value is only listed if it differs from the product value.

Product Value

The value of the attribute acronym in the product.

This value is only listed if it differs from the source value.

Revert to the source value.

Keep the product value.

Procedure

This command requires a product attribute overrides report, which you create using the Report Product Attribute Overrides command. This report is displayed in the Output window.

1. Superselect the feature of interest by clicking its link in the Output window.

2. Select the Revert Product Attributes command.

The Product Attribute Overrides dialog box is displayed.

The source values and changed product values are listed.

3. Do one of the following for each value that changed:

• Revert to the source value.

• Keep the product value.

4. Click OK.
