HPD accesses the directory services information through LDAP and imports the HPD users and user group structure into HPD using the ImportLDAP process in CARIS Batch.
The ImportLDAP process uses the Distinguished Name of an LDAP server and the HPD Universal Resource Identifier (URI) to import the structure into an HPD schema.
