Display a Project Boundaries layer.
The Project Boundaries layer contains all projects that have defined boundaries. This command is active only if the Project Boundaries layer in the Layers window is closed.
Project boundaries can also be opened with a backdrop S-57 file. When this layer is selected, a new project can be created using the backdrop file to create the project’s boundaries. See the New HPD Project command.
Multiple Project Boundary layers can be displayed if source data and a backdrop file are open, one for the source data and another for the backdrop file.
From the Project Boundaries layer, you can select a project area and view information, such as the project Name, Status and the Assigned To information, in the Attributes window. For more details about projects, use the Project Properties function. (see the Project Properties command).
This function is useful if you want to view the areas of the workspace being edited. You can also use this function to make sure that there is no overlap between tasks.
