CARIS Paper Chart Composer

Move a selected feature or a group of features. When a sounding is moved, the Out of Position ($oopos) flag is not changed.

Procedure

1. Select the Panel data layer.

2. Select a feature or group of features.

3. Select the Move Selection command.

A box is formed around the selected features. The pointer changes to a four-headed arrow.

4. Move the feature(s) using one of the following methods:

• Position the pointer over the box, click and hold the mouse button, and drag the box to a new location.

• Press the arrow keys.

5. Right-click in the panel and select Move > End from the pop-up menu.

6. If necessary, use the Refresh command to update the display.

The features are now moved to the new position.
