CARIS HPD Paper Chart Editor
This command is only available if the Raster Chart Module is enabled. |
Menu | Raster > Burn Selection to Raster Layers |
Add features to raster layers.
Features can be digitized to a panel and then burned into a raster layer. For example, a marine-culture point feature is burned into a raster layer.

Features are added by matching a feature’s colour to the raster layer associated with that colour.
If a feature uses colours that do not match colours of any of the raster layers, a message is displayed informing you that the feature has not been burned because colours do not match. |
If the raster layer is resized, close the chart then reopen it before burning features. |
