Licenses for CARIS applications can be activated on any computer to which a Sentinel USB license key is connected as long as the following conditions are met:
• a CARIS application is available on the computer
• a CARIS license file is available
• a Sentinel driver is installed on the computer
Sentinel drivers are programs that connect the Sentinel USB license key to your computer. A driver is available through the Sentinel System Driver Installer 7.6.0 that is included with the CARIS application installation.
The Sentinel Driver Installer is saved in the following location when CARIS applications are installed:
C:\Program Files (x86)\CARIS\Sentinel System Driver Installer
