[Read-only] The product type selected in Step 1.

Edition

[Mandatory] The edition number of the product. Default is 1. Type a new number if necessary.

Product Name

[Mandatory] A name for the product. This does not have to follow the standard naming convention.

Issue Date

[Mandatory] The issue date for the product. Defaults to the current date. Select another date from the calendar Or enable Set Date on Export to assign the export date to the product.

Producing Agency

[Mandatory] A two-character code that designates the hydrographic agency that owns the data. Select from the list.

Navigational Purpose

[Mandatory] The scale range of the product. Select from the list.

Dataset Name

[Mandatory] A name for the dataset which is built from the fields in the frame:

• Individual Cell Code: A unique code for the product.

For AML 3.0 products, the cell code is used as the file name. Any alphanumeric combination can be entered, but it should follow the AML 3.0 standard. This requires that the file name include a three-character country code. If necessary, you can look these codes up in ...\CARIS\BASE Editor\4.3\system\S57Config\system\ natocodes_Ed8.txt.
