Change Feature Class | Assign a new feature acronym to all selected features. This will not change the geometry or feature type. For example, lines cannot be converted to areas nor areas to lines. 1. Enable Change Feature Class. 2. Type an acronym in the box or click browse (...) to display the Select Object Acronym dialog box. |
Change Attribute Value | Assign or change an attribute value. 1. Enable Change Attribute Value. 2. Choose the attribute to be changed by either: • Selecting the attribute from the drop-down list in the Acronym column • Clicking the browse button (...) in the unnamed column beside the Acronym column. This will launch the Attribute Catalogue Browser dialog box that can then be used to select the desired attribute. See Attribute Catalogue Browser for information on this tool. 3. Click the browse button (...) or the down arrow in the Value column to display either a list of values or dialog box relevant to the selected attribute. 4. Select or specify the new value for the attribute. See Attributes Window for more information about defining attribute values. |
Apply Shift to Attribute Value | Change a numeric attribute by applying a shift value. This can be a positive or negative value. A positive value is added to the existing value. A negative value is subtracted from the existing value. If a selected feature has no value assigned to the attribute, no change is made. 1. Enable Apply Shift to Attribute Value. 2. Choose the attribute to be changed by either: • Selecting the attribute from the drop-down list in the Acronym column • Clicking the browse button (...) in the unnamed column beside the Acronym column. This will launch the Attribute Catalogue Browser dialog box that can then be used to select the desired attribute. See Attribute Catalogue Browser for information on this tool. Only floating point and integer attributes are displayed in the Acronym drop‑down list. 3. Type the shift value under the Value column. |
