New Atlas from Existing

CARIS HPD Paper Chart Editor

Create a new Atlas by making a copy of an existing atlas product. An existing Atlas or chart does not need to be open to use this command.

Procedure

1. Select the New Atlas From Existing command.

If you are not logged into Oracle, the Oracle Login dialog box is displayed.

2. Log into the Oracle database, if necessary.

The Open Atlas dialog box is displayed.

This contains a list of Atlases.

3. Select an Atlas and click OK.

A new Atlas layer is created.

The new Atlas layer has the same name as the selected Atlas. Also, the same pages with the same charts and files as the selected Atlas are available.

The attributes of the new Atlas are exactly the same as the selected Atlas.

Attributes and pages of the new Atlas can be edited, if required.
