Select by Rule File

Select > Features By > Rule File

Tool

The rule file filter selects features using filtering rules. Each rule contains a number of conditions.

Rule files are created using the Rule Wizard and have the extension .crfx.

Procedure

1. Make a layer active.

2. Select the Select by Rule File command.

A file open file dialog box is displayed.

3. Navigate to the location of the rule file.

4. Select the file and click Open.

All features matching the criteria in the rule file are selected.
