Digitize Features

To digitize features from the Feature Palette:

1. Select a feature icon.

2. Select the Digitize New Feature tool.

3. Digitize the selected feature in the layer.

To digitize a feature at the position of an existing feature in a layer:

1. Select a feature object in the Display window.

2. Select a feature icon in the palette.

3. Right-click and select Use Geometry of Selection from the pop-up menu.

The feature represented by the icon in the palette is digitized at the location of the existing feature that was selected in the display.
