Menu | Database > Set Online > Superselection/ |
Database objects have a status of online or offline. This status can be changed manually or it may be changed automatically by the application.
A user may choose to manually set an object to offline, for example, to archive older, historic data while still maintaining it on the database.
Objects with a status of offline are only available from the Offline layer. Offline objects can be drawn, selected, deleted, or set to online, but the object itself cannot be edited.
Procedure
1. Select a database filter layer in the Layers window.
2. Select one or more database objects in the Display window.
3. Select the appropriate Set Offline or Set Online command based on the number of objects selected.
The status is changed for the selected objects. If they were changed to offline, they are now only accessible from the Offline layer.
