Select features individually or within a user-defined rectangular area in the Display window.

Procedure

1. Make a layer active.

2. Select the Select by Range command.

3. Do one of the following:

• Click to select a single feature.

• <Shift+click> to select multiple features.

• Press and hold the left mouse button and drag to define a rectangular area.
