Save the current state of the data in a project file.
A project file (.project) contains the list of open layers and their properties, the draw order, whether layers are displayed or hidden, and the last geographic extents of the view.

Procedure
1. Select the Save Project As command.
A Save As dialog box is displayed.
2. Navigate to a save location.
3. Type a file name.
4. Click Save.
The current project is saved.
