Selecting a database or query layer in the Layers window displays database properties in the Properties window.
• The General properties provide the coordinate reference system of the database and the name and version of the catalogue.
• The Extents properties provide the minimum and maximum latitude and longitude coordinates of the entire database. If surfaces are added to the database that are outside of the current extents, these properties will be updated to show the new boundary.
• The Database properties provide basic information about the database.
These properties cannot be changed in this view. Users with the appropriate privileges can change the Backup Location property in the BDB Server Administration Tools application.
